Kilcoy is a rural community, 90 minutes north-west of Brisbane and situated at the northern end of Lake Somerset.

Country people have a long tradition of making their own entertainment and Kilcoy Unplugged was founded to continue that tradition. This not-for-profit group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, fostering and encouraging budding performance poets, singers, story-tellers and musicians and providing a venue for the more seasoned to showcase their latest works. The token door money goes towards the periodical booking of featured guest artists.

See our Festival page for details on the Easter Camp.
